We are all citizens of a country and we have every right to be proud and patriotic to our country... but we are also people on a planet.
Just as being a citizen of a city or state doesn't preclude being a citizen of a nation, being a citizen of a nation shouldn't preclude us from seeing ourselves as part of Earth Community. Earth Community is a unifying concept that allows people to identify with a greater whole, while maintaining and honoring individual nationalities, races, cultures, etc.
When people become globally conscious, perhaps we will stop throwing rocks and missiles at one another, live in peace, and take on global issues such as saving the environment.
We envision Earth Community awareness encompassing every one of Earth’s 192 countries and 10,000 ethnic groups. We envision Earth Community as encompassing everyone on Earth. What role will you play?
Earth Community is not about politics or government. Earth Community is about consciousness. Earth Community is the building of consensus for peace, prosperity and justice. We take a stand for the long term sustainability of our planet's environment and people.
